Location: ManchesterContract: Full-time About the Role The HR Advisor will be part of the HR Business Partnering team, delivering an exceptional standard of HR support to allocated business divisions and playing a key strategic role in helping stakeholders achieve their commercial goals. The role requires strong HR experience -ideally gained within a partnership or professional services environment along with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. The HR Advisor will be confident in core HR processes (including reward, performance, and appraisals) and have demonstrable experience managing employee relations matters. The position also involves contributing to wider HR initiatives and projects, including an ongoing HR transformation programme designed to improve how the global HR team operates. About the Team The HR function provides support across multiple regions and covers all aspects of people-related matters. The team works collaboratively to deliver a broad range of HR services and initiatives, creating a positive impact for the organisation and its people. Key Responsibilities Partner with the HR Business Partnering team to deliver high-quality HR support. Advise on and manage employee relations matters, including disciplinaries, investigations, absence management, performance management, grievances, and redundancies. Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practice. Act as a point of contact for employee queries, escalating to HR Business Partners as needed. Support HR projects and wider initiatives, including HR transformation. Assist with HR calendar activities such as salary reviews, headcount budgets, engagement surveys, and talent/performance management. Required Experience Previous HR Advisor experience, preferably within a Business Partnering team in a professional services environment. Strong understanding of UK employment law and experience managing employee relations issues. Knowledge of key HR processes, including reward, performance, and appraisals. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build credibility quickly. Proven ability to develop strong stakeholder relationships and act as a trusted advisor.
