In the context of the energy transition, Biogas Solutions Europe business has seen double-digit growth for the last years in Europe. This business includes the technologies and solutions that we offer throughout the value chain, from the production of biomethane, to its ultimate use (in transportation, industry, or for the production of low-carbon hydrogen).

Our European business is currently focused on France, the United Kingdom, Scandinavia (Sweden and Norway), and Italy. Our growth is driven by the opening of several biomethane production plants and by strong demand from industry and the transportation sector. And finally, as we have developed our solutions across the biomethane value chain, various projects have emerged as examples of a local circular economy.

**How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?**:
The role is for a Chief Financial Officer for the UK Biogas Advanced Business and Technologies and will be a part of the UK Management Team with a direct report to the United Kingdom Biogas General Manager and a dotted line to the Chief Financial Officer of Biogas. Responsible for the financial accounting for UK Biogas.

Your responsibilities are to ensure the Financial/Internal control reliability of the UK Biogas perimeter. Your missions are to:
Supervise the Operations control, Accounting and Internal Control activities/teams

Monitor the Balance Sheet and working capital font & build necessary analysis for management

Guarantee the reliability of reportings, both statutory and consolidated ones

Coordinate the strategic reviews and the Target process

Set up and monitor the UK Biogas dashboard including both Financial and Non Financial KPIs

Achieve the adhoc studies for Biogas General Management

Carry out Internal Control reviews

Guarantee the respect of Group Internal Control rules

Supervise the monitoring of the IT roadmap

Supervise the Legal activities

In a complex business context with multiple entities, requiring amalgamation and consolidation of 20 remote operated facilities, with regular additional assets.

Your main mission is to be responsible for financial and ops control reportings and ensure that Group policies are understood and applied in the entity.

Lead finance department and drive end to end financial performance of the business inclusive of monitoring financial performances, monthly flash report; credit control; cash flow; investment management; tax; insurance; treasury; internal audit; budgeting and forecasting; and risk management linked to customers and assets.

1. Accounting Management
a. Validate written procedures for all accounting processes (accouting rules, fixed assets management, invoice booking, payments etc.).
b. Validate the proper design of the ERP tool (cost centers, local account, etc.)
c. Validate the proper creation of the financials statements as per PGAAP rules and IFRS.
d. Validate Reportings as per country management and cluster/hub/head office requirements.
e. Finalise the financial statements with statutory auditors.
f. Valide Finance organisation and roles

2. Financing, Cash Management and Hedging
a. Define with group the equity/debt ratios and the core banks
b. Interact with the core banks to structure the loans (long term, short term, interest rates)
c. Provide guidance to Treasurer for funding. In case of new projects, liaise and negotiate funding with banks as per inputs of group Corporate Finance.
d. Monitor treasury team for adherence of defined processes.
e. Review and present quarterly updates on treasury and fund management to the Board.
