**The Role**
We are delighted to be Northern Powergrid's Tier 1 Supplier, keeping the lights switched on across the North East, by providing cable engineering services for both planned and reactive works.
We have a vacancy for a team leader, to safely undertake civil excavation works throughout the North East region working on reactive faults.
**The activities that you will get involved with include**:
- Commencing works once fully satisfied that all risks have been removed or minimised.
- Carrying out activities in accordance with RAMS and highlighting or escalating deviations.
- Ensuring the site is left compliant for other trades and the public.
- Ensuring all interactions with colleagues, customers and members of the public are polite and professional.
- Cooperating in any incident, accident or damage investigation.
- Compliance with NRSWA / NJUG / HAUC and client specifications.
- Accurate and timely completion of all information related to completed and active jobs onto the electronic system

The following accreditations: CSCS, NPORS/CPCS, deep excavation, temporary works, confined spaces, abrasive wheels, manual handling, and first aid.
A full and valid driving licence is also essential, impact moling, towing and Streetworks (NRSWA) tickets are all highly desirable.
Must be available for shift work.
