Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Practitioner

Our Specialist Perinatal Mental Health team supports new mums and mums-to-be experiencing severe to moderate mental health illness during the perinatal period. This an exciting time to join the team as we continue to grow and develop to deliver a high-quality mental health response to women in the perinatal period and their partners. You will work as part of an established integrated multi-disciplinary Specialist Perinatal Mental Health team which promotes a dynamic and innovative way of working, triaging and responding to referrals, conducting face to face assessments and therapeutic interventions working with other team members to provide a holistic and bespoke approach to every family on our caseload.The team is made up of a Mental Health Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Peer Support Workers, Health Visitor, Nursery Nurses, Social Workers, a Consultant Psychiatrist and Psychologists, with the support of an admin team. We work closely with several System partners such as Health Visiting, Maternity Services and SafeguardingPlease note: Band 5 developmental posts will be considered for the right applicants and can be discussed at interview.
