**Based**: Newland House, Normanton (3 days per week), Home (2 days per week)
Hours of Work - **Full time in a permanent position**
**WHAT WILL I BE DOING?**
**Role Objective**
This role would be supporting our Sales, Marketing and Group functions across the companies within EVO. Working closely with the Senior HR Business Partner and the rest of the HR Team, you will provide customer focused, proactive and professional HR advisory support to colleagues and managers. This full-time role is office based for a minimum of 3 days per week.
**Summary of Role Responsibilities**:
- You will be involved with all aspects of HR including Employee Relations, Change Management, Recruitment and Learning & Development
- Maintenance of employee data within our HR Information System - CHRIS
- Develop expertise to ensure efficient use of the HR and Recruitment systems, both from a superuser view and supporting/coaching Managers to self-serve
- Leading recruitment and onboarding, including actively tracking recruitment progress, supporting managers to fill vacancies both with active recruitment and interview support and administering new starter offers and contracts
- Supporting manager to monitor and measure absence, including support within formal meetings where necessary
- Monitoring long term sickness absence and supporting managers to safely return colleagues to work
- Providing first line ER support, specifically supporting managers through capability, disciplinary, performance and grievance procedures, empowering them to lead these meetings whilst providing them with the support required
- Assist with co-ordination of training requirements, including designing and leading training for line managers
- Administration of amendments to staff terms and conditions, including ensuring the relevant approval has been provided, manipulating the HR system and detailing any changes to colleagues through the relevant correspondence
- Responsible for the co-ordination of Maternity/Paternity/Flexible Working requests and subsequent processes
- Ability to review and update policies and procedures where necessary
- Managing queries from the HR People Inbox, responding to or escalating where necessary
- Managing queries from the Ask CHRIS function, responding to or escalating where necessary
- Respond to HR queries from management and staff providing advice and guidance on employment matters
- Willing to travel throughout the UK to attend meetings/hearings
- Request references for all new starters and monitor, responding to reference requests for ex-employees
- Creating and maintaining all employee personnel files
- Assist in the delivery of ad hoc HR projects, including being willing and able to lead projects where necessary (with support)
**WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?**
**SKILLS/ ABILITIES**
- Solid HR Administrative background with excellent attention to detail
- HR Advisory experience including ER
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- Ability to deal with staff at all levels
- Good IT skills - MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint essential
- Ability to work well within a team
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities, set expectations to stakeholders and appropriately manage your time and assigned tasks
- Ability to deal with sensitive issues and confidential information
- Highly organised with excellent time management
- Has or is willing to work towards a CIPD level 5 qualification or equivalent within 2 years
