- Have an optimistic approach, be enthusiastic and above all hold a strong commitment to young people and their learning.
- QTS and a PGCE or similar in secondary Science.
- Be passionate about science and the opportunities available to young people through enrichment opportunities.
- Be resilient and have good behaviour management skills within the classroom.
- Have experience teaching Science across KS3 and KS4.
- Be able to hold good relationships with staff, students, and parents.
- Determination to progress in a high achieving department.
- Have a strong understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
