As a Technical Lead you will contribute to the research objectives of the Composite Centre team, primarily through delivery of industrially focused world-leading research and development projects, as part of a team of engineers in an exciting and dynamic environment.

**You will**:

- Have an honours degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant STEM field.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Have good problem-solving skills.
- Technical knowledge in more than on area of the following: composite manufacture, composite design & modelling, composite tooling, composite machining, composite testing or analysis, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics and heat transfer, process monitoring and control, numerical simulation of composite fatigue, data science or machine learning, to provide specific knowledge for Composites’ projects.
- Experience of using a software programming language, (e.g. Matlab, Python, Java, JavaScript, SQL, C++, etc.) to efficiently and effectively solve an engineering challenge.
- Have a willingness to learn new skills.
