**About the role**

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and shape the Community Adult Therapy Team, consisting of Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and support staff professions, in progressive times for Community Services. As well as leading the team operationally, you will play an integral role in the fulfilment of Manx Care's focus and vision of moving care from the acute sector to the community sector. The emphasis on emerging pathways for frailty, falls, expansion of primary and community care hub working, as well as continuing to streamline services (while maintaining and improving quality) mean that new ways of working, effective team and resource management, will call upon your leadership skills and innovation.

The team consists of a group of skilled and dedicated professionals who have often worked in the service for many years, enjoying the opportunity to work autonomously whilst being part of a close-knit team. The team is often commended within the results of the Friends and Family surveys for their empathetic and dedicated approach to patients and their families and carers, making them a pleasure to work with.
