A new opportunity has arisen to join the business as a **Workshop Controller** at our **Wolverhampton** site.

**Salary**:Competitive depending on experience

**Working hours**:42.5 hours per week covering Monday to Friday, One in four Saturdays on a rota basis, paid at overtime rate.

What you’ll be doing:

- Dealing with customers bringing their vehicle for recall, service or repair
- Providing feedback to customers on their service/repair, including pricing of additional work when required, explaining the reasons fully and competently
- Managing all staff within the department, communicating instructions to technicians and ensuring that work is completed in a timely manner

What we need from you:

- A working technical understanding of vehicles in order to clearly explain repairs/additional repairs to customers
- Customer service skills, including dealing with difficult situations and an ability to up-sell our services and products where appropriate
- Strong IT skills
- Awareness of warranty guidelines, service intervals, etc
- Be organised, efficient and able to multi-task efficiently
- Be flexible, energised and a team player
- Previous experience in a similar role
