What will the role of a Speech and Language Teaching Assistant within the Learning Support Assistant Department entail?

In this exciting Speech and Language Teaching Assistant position you will be working in a specific class based on your skills, experience, and personal preference. In this constantly changing position you will be performing a roaming function, supportingteaching and learning where it is needed most. Your responsibilities will include equipping SEN students with the academic and personal skills required to successfully move on to the next stage of education. Support for both pupils and staff is emphasisedat this school and you will be guided to excellence by the Special Educational Needs Coordinator. In general, you will be joining the school's support team, where each member has the option of pairing up with a mentor, yours will be a SENCO.
