Speech and Language Therapy Assistant

9 months fixed term covering maternity leave

We are looking for an enthusiastic, kind and responsible individual to join our friendly Speech and Language Therapy team at Kingston Hospital.

The main responsibilities will be working on the Acute Stroke Unit, but you may also be expected to see other patients on the medical and surgical wards.

Responsibilities will include working on the Stroke ward assisting the Speech and Language Therapists in carrying out communication and swallowing therapy/programmes and running groups. You will also assist in administration and clerical duties for the Speech and Language Therapy team.
