Due to exciting growth, they are seeking a likeminded individual to join them as an **Operations Manager** based at their Colchester office.
**Operations Manager**
**£50-65k DOE** | Flexible Working (Mon-Fri) | Commercial Insurance | Team/Operations Management | Working Closely with CEO | Compliance/Client Retention/Back Office Operations
The role of the **Operations Manager**is to support the CEO with the day-to-day management of the operational side of the business. This will include (but is not limited to) compliance, quality assurance of sales, client retention, managingstaff, organising remote back-office function.
**Duties (include but are not limited to)**:
- Day-to-day operational management of the business (including management of staff)
- Review and develop client retention strategy, ensuring renewal targets are exceeded
- Working closely with the Claims, Sales, Underwriting and Account Handling teams to ensure all strive for best practice with compliance and FCA regulations
- Develop and regularly review the overseas support function of the business
- Proactively engage with colleagues to support the development of this innovative business
- Ensure all duties are carried out in accordance with company procedures and FCA regulations
- Support the HR and recruitment function of new and existing employees, including staff training and development
- Working closely with the CEO to innovate, and streamline processes
**Person Specification**:
- 3 years plus management experience within insurance
- A strong knowledge of working within FCA regulations
- Good level of education with professional qualification or an enthusiasm to gain them
- Flexibility in your approach to work
- A personable team-player, confident and building effective relationships
- Ability to multi-task on a large scale whilst maintaining quality
- A competent user of technology who embraces change
- CII qualifications to the appropriate level or willingness to undertake them.
- Use of Acturis platform beneficial
