We are continuing to grow and have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and enthusiastic individual who excels in a busy environment and is passionate about culture and engagement. Based regionally you will work with nursery mangers to provide value adding HR support activity.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Act as the main point of contact for people queries and casework management through the employee life cycle by providing advice and coaching to managers, ensuring legislation, process and policy is followed for investigation, disciplinary and grievance processes, short-term and long-term absences.
- Advise line managers on probationary review and performance management processes.
- Act as a wellbeing champion and a key point of HR contact in the respective region for mental health and wellbeing support.
- Deliver training modules for existing and new managers.
- Support Leadership and HR Business Partners on all HR and Business led projects engaging stakeholders to achieve People Strategy objectives and supporting HRBPs with acquisitions and other regional work.
- Working with the recruitment team in actioning recruitment and on-boarding processes to ensure settings are operating at required ratios, attracting, managing talent and succession planning for enhanced colleague development and business results.
- Ensure awareness of safeguarding implications and relevant practices are followed through all ER matters.
- Drafting invite letters and outcome letters.
- Research and develop a resource hub of relevant training, guidance, manuals for both employees and managers.
- Support the wider HR team with the administration of the monthly payroll process and employee payroll queries.
- Update systems and maintain personal records for all employees and casework for effective reporting across the designated region.
- **Essential**:_
- Experience at advisory level and strong ability to provide advice on employment terms, conditions, policies and procedure and legislation.
- Strong communication skills, data analysis and reporting to allow informed business decision making.
- CIPD qualification gained or working towards, or equivalent.
- **Desirable**:_
- Sector experience - child care or similar.
- Experience of multisite/ working across multiple locations.
- Experience or understanding of change management.
- Safeguarding knowledge
