We are seeking to appoint a Training Centre Administrator to work in our small, but busy, team within the University Biomedical Services department.
The purpose of the role is to support administration of the Training Centre within the University Biomedical Services (UBS) division, and will entail interaction with students in order to provide support and coordination for the training and development initiatives of the UBS Training Centre.
The role holder will provide secretarial support, and act as a first point of contact for most internal and external queries directed to the Training Office. The role will include, file management, website maintenance and database management plus secretarial support for Animal Welfare Ethical Review Body (AWERB) meetings: drafting of agendas and minutes plus redaction for external website publication.
The successful applicant will be approachable, flexible with excellent communication skills and the ability to organise their own workload meeting multiple conflicting deadlines, with a high level of professionalism. The successful applicant will be computer literate with intermediate or advanced experience utilising Microsoft Office products, as well as other software on a daily basis. A flexible approach is required and a willingness to develop an understanding of the activities of the University Biomedical Services division.
