**FEVACA** is recruiting for an **Office Admin/Receptionist** to join our well settled team at our Head office in Bury St Edmunds.

**Hours**: 40hrs per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm, with half an hour lunch break

or 20hrs per week with job share

**Pay starts at**: £10.50 per hour

**Overview of the Role**:

- The post will be based in Bury St Edmunds town centre.
- You will need to be proficient in Microsoft Office programs and have attention to detail.
- You will also need to demonstrate good communication, and customer service skills and be willing to work as part of the team.

**Your main responsibilities would be**:

- Answering and forwarding telephone calls.
- Greeting visitors on arrival at Head Office, checking identification, and ensuring visitors have signed in / out.
- Sorting and distributing posts and deliveries in and out along with the internal post.
- Understanding and supporting with company vehicles booking system.
- Keeping the office clean and tidy at all times - high attention to detail required.
- Printing and photocopying for staff based at Head Office.
- Supporting admin with filing / archiving and other admin tasks on request.
- Opening and closing of office - Keyholder.
- Checking stock levels of stationery and supplies - ordering with finance every week.
- Purchasing small amounts of day-to-day items like milk and flowers for the office.
- Maintaining hanging baskets and watering all plants.
- Schedule meetings and arrange calendars when appropriate.
- Producing documents, briefing papers, reports, and presentations when appropriate.
- Ensure regular communication with the Line Manager and Directors
- assist the Finance and HR team with any of the service demands and work requests
- Complete an enhanced DBS check.
- Provide evidence of their right to work in the U.K.
- Provide satisfactory references for 5 years or more (inc most recent employer).

**Key Requirements**:

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Professional, a discrete and solid understanding of the importance of confidentially.
- Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 - 40 per week
