**Instructor/Trainer - PLC / Automation / Controls or Industrial Electrics / Electrical**
This role would suit a Technical Trainer or Instructor working within another educational organisation or college but in the past we have successfully recruited experienced Maintenance Managers, Electricians & Multiskilled Engineers who have the required experience within the industrial environment & are keen to help others learn.
As a Training Instructor, you’ll have the opportunity to engage with customers from all manufacturing sectors making use of a wide variety of hardware to conduct the training courses.
**INTACS Industrial Training**
INTACS is a small but highly regarded Training & Consultancy Service which has been operating independently & supporting equipment manufacturers & end users within the industrial sector for the last 30 years. Our training is generally regarded to be among the very best across the UK & this is due to having people with the right knowledge, attitude & experience running our courses. INTACS offers a wide range of training, but the core business is around adult training on PLC & Automation products & Industrial Electrical Skilling & Industrial Electrical Safety.
**As a Training Instructor your role & responsibilities would be**:
- Primarily to support & deliver some of our key Industrial courses
- Develop & maintain good training notes & materials & to deliver the training
- Help build new examples & exercises for the training
- Occasionally you may be required to visit a customer site in order to assess skills or help fault-find
- Courses are delivered in the Training Centre in Wellingborough, on client sites across the UK & occasionally overseas
- Requirement to deliver on-site training is generally no more than one week per month
**Contact INTACS if you have any of the following skills or experience**:
- Knowledge & experience of PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, Drives or Industrial Networking
- And / or a strong Industrial Electrical background (Electrical Skills & Electrical Safety)
- Experience working with leading PLC & Automation products e.g. Siemens (Step 7 Classic, TIA Portal, WinCC Flex, WinCC), Allen Bradley (RSLogix500, RSLogix5000 / Studio5000), Mitsubishi (GX Developer / GXWorks), Beckhoff (TwinCAT), Omron PLCs
- Having worked as an Electrician or Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with knowledge of Industrial Electrics, Electrical Safety, 3 phase, Motors, Panel Components, Electrical Drawings, 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, PAT Testing, 2391 Inspection & Testing, Sensors, Drives
- IT skills to be able to use relevant equipment (hardware & software)
- Full UK driving licence
- Previously been involved with coaching, mentoring &/or developing colleagues or having delivered classroom led training would be an advantage
- It is NOT REQUIRED that applicants should have particular technical or professional qualifications
