**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Assist mechanics in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues in vehicles and equipment.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools are properly stored after use.
- Help with the assembly and disassembly of parts as required.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Document repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles or equipment accurately.

**Requirements**:

- Basic mechanical knowledge is essential; previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- A willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently when required.

Pay: £20,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
