**General Summary**

Bonnier Books UK is looking for a highly organised and self-motivated in-house recruiter on a permanent basis to support the HR team with bringing all recruitment in-house, growing our business’s most important asset: our people.

This is an exciting, newly created role and provides a fantastic opportunity to establish an effective end-to-end in-house recruitment process, using tools and strategies to reduce recruitment costs whilst ensuring our recruitment practices are aligned with our company values and commitment to inclusion and representation.

**Role responsibilities**
- Work closely with the HR team to shape the recruitment strategy and implement a recruitment process to reduce third party recruitment expenditure.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand current and future hiring needs and work with the HR team to create role specifications for each vacancy.
- Champion BBUK as a forward-thinking employer and ensure our recruitment practices are aligned with our company values and commitment to inclusion and representation.
- Support hiring managers with interview logistics, including scheduling interviews and arranging room bookings.
- Regularly report the status of vacancies to hiring managers and the HR team.
- Work with the HR team to ensure every new employee has an exceptional onboarding experience

**Skills and experience**
- Proven experience as a project manager or equivalent, ideally in recruitment.
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding of and keen interest in recruitment processes and people.
- An excellent eye for detail.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks and deliver high quality work set to deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to proactively engage with stakeholders across all levels of seniority.
- Good working knowledge of databases, systems and Microsoft Office
