**About this Role**

NJC Point 14 £25,409 FTE Term Time Only Role

**The role involves supervising a variety of classes across the school and delivering cover work to students in their absence of their normal class teacher.** During cover lessons your role will be to ensure all students understand the task which has been set and are engaged with learning. Tasks may also need to be created to extend and challenge pupils if they complete the cover work before the end of the lesson.

You will also be expected to manage the behaviour of the class when covering in accordance with the school’s behaviour policy. It will be essential to work with the students to ensure they are getting the most of out of the lesson and to facilitate their learning as much as possible.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £25,409.00 per year

- Monday to Friday

- Berkshire, RG7 1ER: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Teaching: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- QTS (preferred)
