Are you ready to play a vital role in supporting essential operations and ensuring our service runs seamlessly? Join us as an **Equipment Officer**, where you’ll be at the heart of managing and maintaining operational equipment and logistics for our service.

**Key Responsibilities**

As an Equipment Officer, you will:

- Manage the **Asset Management System** and ensure stock levels align with operational SLAs.
- Oversee the repair, return, evaluation, and ordering of operational equipment with external providers.
- Assist in the roll-out of **new vehicles and operational tools**, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate **annual testing** of operational equipment and maintain accurate records.
- Conduct audits across the county to ensure adherence to safety, maintenance, and inventory standards.
- Support procurement by writing specifications for vehicles and equipment and advising on research and development.
- Collaborate on **key projects** that enhance efficiency and deliver a high-quality service to our stakeholders.

**What You Need to Succeed**

To excel in this role, you will have:

- Relevant **logistics qualifications** or demonstrable experience in delivering exceptional support services in a high-volume environment.
- A **Health & Safety qualification (IOSH)** and a **Cat C licence**.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and IT systems with an eye for detail.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of **national best practices** and legal requirements surrounding fleet, equipment, and engagement.
