**Full Time Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant wanted in Penzance.**

Teaching Personnel are looking for a SENTA to work on a full-time basis.

**As an SEN Support Assistant, your main responsibilities will be to**:

- Work with small groups of children and sometimes work 1:1 with them to support each of their individual needs
- Assist both inside and outside of the classroom
- Liaise with parents, and other professionals to provide the best opportunities for children
- Work alongside the teacher and SENCO to engage and encourage the students to learn
- Create exciting initiatives to promote learning to the children
- Support any additional needs or wants a child may have
- Helping children work towards their assesments

**You will be required to have**:

- A background in supporting a variety of SEN
- A creative approach to lessons
- Experience in managing challenging behaviour in a calm manner
- Confidence in assisting children throughout the day
- References from your two most recent child-environment workplaces
- A full UK Driving Licence
