**Retail Garden Centre Assistant**

**Salary from £20,535 per Annum, pro rata**

**Part Time 22.5 hours per week - flexible 3 days - weekend work will be included**

**4-6 Months Fixed Term contract (Seasonal)**

St Andrew’s Healthcare is a charity providing specialist mental healthcare services. We work in partnership with a number of NHS, voluntary, educational and research organisations to deliver a range of specialist inpatient and community mental healthcareservices, education and research that helps to improve the lives of people with complex mental health needs.

Our Garden Centre is located within Work Bridge here at St Andrew’s Healthcare Northampton. We are looking for highly motivated individuals to come and support our team with the seasonal demand. The role of Garden Centre assistant is to undertake all aspectsof day to day running of the Garden Centre to grow and care for stock with a commercial focus on retail and merchandising.

**There will be elements of the role where heavy lifting will be involved.**

**Required skills, qualifications and experience**:

- Excellent Customer service skills
- A knowledge of retail with demonstrative experience
- Excellent listening, communication and people skills (both written and verbal)
- Able to organise self and others
- Ability to work independently without close supervision
- Good planning skills and ability to work to specified timescales
- Able to work under pressure and manage priorities appropriately
