**Position Summary**:
The Progress Co-ordinator will be responsible for the design, implementation of progress tracking systems and the monitoring of student targets and achievements whilst continuing to uptake a mentoring weekly timetable. The role involves aspects of safeguarding, continuous professional development and a key responsibility for the development and implementation of a PSHE & SEMH program of opportunities. Providing feedback to their line manager and where applicable Neuro Team Leaders. The Progress Co-ordinator will also be responsible for setting student goals, arranging management meetings. Leading in tracking student progress, student development and communicating with management, NEURO Team Leaders and individual team members.

**Operational Support**:

- To attend Engagement Meetings where required.
- Safeguarding Level 3 to be obtained and maintained every two years, in order to support the L2L Safeguard Team and mentors.
- To liaise with parents/carers where needed beyond the level of communication required by mentoring.
- To develop a system to track progress and continually observe the progress of L2L YP.
- Raise opportunities for mentor development, student development (PSHE, SEMH) and calendared events.
- Safeguarding: Ensure that all safeguarding procedures are adhered to during mentoring sessions, promoting a safe and respectful environment for all participants.

**Quality Assurance**:

- Session Observations: Regularly observe mentoring sessions to assess the quality of delivery and ensure that best practices are being followed.
- Feedback to Mentors: Provide timely and actionable feedback to mentors after observations, focusing on areas of improvement and strengths.
- Reporting: Compile and write detailed reports on mentoring sessions, team performance, and development progress, sharing findings in line with the management structure.
- Communication: Maintain clear and open lines of communication with both mentors and management, facilitating the flow of information and feedback.
- Daily Reports: Supporting in maintaining standards of reports and communicating with leaders where required.

**Professional Development**:

- Continuous Professional Development: Identify and implement opportunities for professional growth and training for the mentor team, keeping them updated on the latest mentoring strategies, tools, and techniques.
- Session Observational Support: Be available to mentors during sessions, offering real-time support and guidance as needed to ensure smooth session delivery.

**Meetings & Coordination**:

- Management Meetings: Attend regular meetings in line with the management structure to discuss performance, challenges, and strategic plans. Support in the co-ordination of NEURO team leader meetings in order to drive progress and the company vision.
- Operational Feedback: Provide critical insights and feedback to the management team regarding mentor performance, session outcomes, and the overall mentorship program success.

- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and be a part of an inspiring team, with strong decision-making and management skills, driving a positive workforce.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and constructive feedback.
- Observation Skills: Keen attention to detail during session observations, with the ability to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
- Mentorship Expertise: Positive experience in mentoring, with a deep understanding of best practices and methodologies.
- Safeguarding Knowledge: Strong understanding of safeguarding principles and ability to enforce these effectively.
- Time Management: Strong organisational skills, with the ability to balance multiple responsibilities and deadlines effectively.
- Problem-Solving: Proactive and solution-oriented, able to provide real-time support and guidance during sessions.
- Efficient use of technology and the Google Drive, CPOMS where necessary.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Education: Experience in Education, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field working closely with vulnerable young people and the teams around the child.
- Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in a mentoring or leadership role, with proven success in managing teams and delivering training.
