**The Role**

In this role, you will lead the Transaction Monitoring Model Oversight Team, sitting in the wider controls, models, and analytics team. This team focuses on all Financial Crime models (name screening, transaction screening, Customer Risk Assessment, TM models),overseeing model maintenance and strategic changes, as well as moving more into machine learning and AI.

You will:

- Work as a Transaction Monitoring Specialist, ensuring processes and controls are designed and operating effectively.
- Supporting the definition and oversight of calibration methodologies across all models.
- Use your Specialist Transaction Monitoring knowledge to check/challenge internal thinking.

**Key Skills & Requirements**
- Strong commercial experience managing Transaction Monitoring Models - ideally from a Line 2 perspective.
- Confidence to challenge and influence internal and external stakeholders
- An understanding of data analytics and relevant tools such as, SQL, SAS, R and Python
