Page Personnel are partnering with a well known FMCG organization based in Ely to recruit for an interim accounts assistant. This role is initially a 9 month FTC with the view to go permanent.

Our client are one of the the UK's leading FMCG businesses who offer a highly collaborative working environment which supports bothinterim and permanent staff equally. This is a great opportunity to work closely with a finance manager who focuses on the development of their team heavily.

**Description**

The key duties of the interim accounts assistant will be:

- Preparation of weekly and monthly balance sheet control reconciliations and supporting schedules identifying any outstanding items and a plan to resolve.
- responsible for payments & Processing Employee expenses
- Collating information to facilitate recharges for responsible areas.
- Completion of daily bank reconciliations ensuring all queries are resolved in a timely manner.
- Running weekly sales routines and the preparation of weekly journals for control accounts.
- Monitor and ensure all sundry recharges are processed in a timely manner, updating recharge log, and saving invoice backing
- Assist with the month-end accounts

**Profile**

The successful interim accounts assistant will be:

- AAT qualified or studying towards an accounting qualification
- Available to start a position within 1 week of interviewing
- Experienced within a fast paced accounts department
- Happy to go permanent after completing an interim assignment
- Be within a commutable distance to Ely offices

**Job Offer**

£10 - £13 per hour highly dependant on experience
