**Who are we?**

CPL started reactivating industrial spent activated carbon in 2013, and a significant expansion of this capacity was completed in early 2018, making it one of the largest industrial regeneration facilities in Europe. At the same time, we set up a completely separate facility for the reactivation of potable spent adsorbents, to allow us to supply our products and services to the municipal water and food production industries. In 2020, this facility achieved both Halal and Kosher accreditation.

**The role**:

- 4 days, 4 off, 4 nights - 12 hour shifts with annual leave.

The role of the Plant Operator is a key role within the production team for the Carbon Regeneration Plant and heavily involved in Health and Safety, Quality, Process Reporting and the efficient running of the Carbon Regen Plant, reporting directly to the team leads and providing support to the Engineering Team.
- Working as part of a small team of 2, under the supervision of a Team Lead but would be expected to work independently at times.
- Learn to operate both of our Regeneration Plants to a high standard, focusing stringently on Health & Safety reporting and quality.
- Fault finding and managing basic repairs and maintenance.

**Essential Experience**:

- Forklift license - either current or the requirement for a refresher is acceptable
- Driving licence
- Plant operating experience

- Possess a high degree of personal organisation skills and self motivation.
- The ability to maintain high standards of housekeeping
- The ability to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £26,400.00-£31,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Plant Operator: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
