**Job description**:
We are currently looking to recruit a Records Administrator to join the team based in Birmingham.

The successful applicant will be bright, enthusiastic, computer-literate and will have achieved a good standard of education including English and Maths. Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy, excellent communication skills, and a willing, pro-active attitude are also essential for this role.

You will be expected to cover the full range of patent and trade mark records work, updating the database, loading new names and cases and cross-checking data, ensuring the utmost integrity of the records data and configuration and providing detailed schedules to fee earners and clients. You should have an eye for detail and enjoy identifying then resolving anomalies.

You will also be required to check and enter records post on to Inprotech, enter, monitor and chase deadlines, produce standard letters and correspondence, update records within strict timeframes and ensure that accurate information is issued to clients and fee earners regarding the progress of patent, trade mark and design
- records.

Experience of data manipulation and working with detailed spreadsheets and reports, together with a keen interest in using different systems would be a distinct benefit.
