Group Sales Team Leader

**Hours**: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm
**Hybrid working**: 3 days In Thame support office, 2 days working from home
**The job in a nutshell**:
As a Group Sales team leader your role is to deliver the agreed Groups Sales accuracy, productivity and conversion targets, in order to grow sales and achieve budgeted revenue targets.
You will do this by managing a team of Administrators who are tasked with ensuring all after sales administrative tasks relating to confirmed group bookings are completed efficiently and in a timely manner.
**What you’ll be doing**:
- Support the Groups Team Manager in the delivery of the vision and direction for your team, focusing them to achieve and exceed their objectives.
- Lead, manage and develop a highly engaged and high performing administration team. Ensuring robust talent management and succession planning is in place
- Undertake regular performance reviews to all Administrators to highlight any training needs, performance issues or trends and to celebrate success
- Support the Sales Team Manager on the delivery of a measurable booking process for the Groups and Events channels ensuring that all KPI’s are met.
- Production of reporting to support the management of team targets and client SLAs
- Take ownership of any queries or complaints that may be received by the team and management of these with the support of the Groups Team Manager Team and/or the customer services team accordingly.
- Build strong internal stakeholder relationships at all levels including Revenue, Hotel Booking Support Team, Accounts and Customer Services. Promoting accountability of sales performance, communication, problem resolution and innovation.

To succeed in this role you’ll need to be a strong leader who is confident in the management of a team and be able to support the development of individuals. There will be a significant reliance on the individual to drive the team to work efficiently ensuring all administrative tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner, supporting the delivery of client SLA’s. In addition, the role requires:
