**Job Title**:
- Import Clerk
**Salary** - £25,000 (plus quarterly bonuses based on company profits)
**Location**:
- Avonmouth
**Working Hours** - Full-time, Permanent Contract, Monday to Friday between the hours of 09:00am - 05:00pm
Working within a dedicated and supportive team your role will be to build and maintain relationships in their Air and Ocean Freight division. No two days are ever the same so being able to think on your feet as well as being process driven is critical to thesuccess of this position.
**Duties of the Import Clerk Include**:
- Previous experience working for a freight forwarder is essential
- Experience in Chief / CDS preferred
- Experience working on an air freight desk (90% air other 10% would be Sea/Road)
- Previous experience with quotations
- Continuously supporting and building solid relationships with customers
- Handle all operational aspects of import and export file management
- Arrange and monitor airline/carrier customer cargo collections and deliveries
- Handle and process documentation including clearance of Air and Ocean freight
- Complete customs entries
- Preparing documentation for import
- Progressing export documentation
- Ability to work under pressure and support colleagues as and when needed
- All aspects of quotations
- Data input on ASM Sequoia
- Client communication

Experience in using Sequoia/GEMS ASM system for all customs entries will be highly regarded.
Working Monday to Friday between the hours of 09:00am - 05:00pm, free parking on site as well as modern offices.
