We’re looking for an experienced UK Lead to join our UX and Design team and ask difficult questions of us, our processes and our clients. Questions like 'Why is this a problem?’ and 'Why does it need solving?’. Questions like 'How do we get people to collaborate better?’ and "Is this really the best way of explaining our approach?". We work very closely with our clients in intense, user-focused, prototype driven sprints, that grow into long-term relationships.We’re looking for someone to grow with us with a strong opportunity to craft your future role in the team. **So here’s another question - does this sound like you?** **In more detail, we’re after someone with**: - 7+ years’ experience working as a UX, Service or Interaction designer within agency, design studio or product environment - With full accountability, have led projects from the design perspective - Can show us interesting and thought-provoking approaches to design challenges (both successes and failures), i.e. from building compelling value propositions for users to realising these in design artefacts - Experience in scoping and outlining approaches to projects - Mentoring or line management experience - Experience working within design sprints/agile methodologies **Design Skills** - In-depth knowledge of design thinking methodology - Planning and production of sketches, task-flows, story-boards, site-maps, wireframes, prototypes, hi-fi design, style-guides, etc - Ability to carry out qualitative research & user testing - Highly skilled in delivering prototypes and design artefacts - A strong POV on how to continuously improve and set the standard for our design output **Logistics & Planning Capabilities** - Provide realistic time/scope/risk estimates for a project, define artefacts and milestones - Lead clients and the team members in workshops, design walkthroughs and presentations - Work with the team and wider project partners to identify opportunities, raise risk and prioritise project goals **Business Insight** - A strong advocate of design quality within a business setting, understanding where this gives the best value - Understanding of how to align and prioritise business need to user needs - Help clients through the process of aligning behind solutions that help deliver their business objectives **The package** - Base salary is based on experience in the role and ranges from £63,200 to £78,100 - You can expect to receive an average of between £16,000 and £22,000 in profit share depending on your experience and company performance. - Pension: Additional 5% of salary Additional benefits: 25 days annual leave (with the option to buy and sell), time off for company-wide morale activities, time off for charitable / CSR activities, free annual eye test, and opt-in health insurance, cycle to work scheme, and payroll charitydonations.
