Service Engineer (Mechanical) (National Territory)

Up to £42,000 DOE + Time off in Lieu + Car + Credit card + expense account + laptop + phone + Annual profit related bonus + stakeholder pension 6% employee, 12% employer contribution + Life Cover + Health plan options

Monday to Friday daytime hours (stayaway average 50% of working time, accommodation provided through expense account)

The role of Service Engineer will be suited to mechanically biased engineers from a heavy process industry background, any exposure to paper production machinery highly advantageous although transferable equipment experience will be equally considered. Abasic grasp of electrical fault finding and repair will be required as this will be a sole engineer role on client locations.

The Service Engineering role will be homebased with the autonomy of managing your own workflow with an approximate 50/50 split between home working and on-site service and repair activities. Whilst home working you will be managing appointments, coordinatingvisits to maximise efficiency on travel time and milage to client sites. You will also complete all of the required documentation for the customer and internal records. Onsite you will predominantly be working on a broad range of bespoke and off the shelfmechanical solutions for paper making machinery.

The role:

- Nationwide Service and repair role on specialised machinery and equipment solutions for the paper manufacturing industry
- Mechanically biased maintenance and repair with basic electrical fault find and repair skills
- Based from home managing own movements, ensuring all client visits and machinery service and repair needs are met within set targets and timescales.

The Person:

- Experienced Service Engineer from a heavy process machinery service and repair background, paper industry experience ideal, although transferable skills and industry experience considered.
- Willing to cover a national territory and have approximately 50% overnight stayaway with average 2 to 3 nights per week based around client locations
- Willing to undergo industry and machinery specific training
- Can be based in any location across Great Britain
