Transport Planner

- Pick Everard have been providing a multi-disciplinary consultancy service to clients across a variety of sectors for over 150 years. With great levels of business growth and a vast pipeline of work, our Civil Engineering discipline are looking to appoint a Transport Planner to join the team in Leicester.-
- This varied and exciting role will also include:
- Undertaking data reviews, analysis calculations, computer modelling and preparing reports to a high standard.
- Assisting in, and having a financial understanding of the management of various projects.
- Liaising with the wider project design team, and representing the firm at client meetings where appropriate.
- Checking data sources and analysis undertaken by others.
- Supervising and coaching technicians and graduates as required.
- Responsible for ensuring an understanding and compliance of all Health & Safety requirements, practices and procedures
- The Leicester office is located in the heart of the city, with great access to public transportation routes. In addition this role will be a mixture of both home and office working.**About You**:

- The successful Transport Planner will be adaptable to changing environments and adopt a flexible approach with a positive attitude.- Further key skills and knowledge we'd like you to possess:
- Excellent client communication skills
- Proficient in report writing and presentation skills at project level
- Good verbal communication - able to discuss work and coach employees
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Self-driven to continually develop your skills and abilities
- Experience using Basemap TRACC, LinSig, Junctions 10 (PICADY and ARCADY) software
- Confident in the use of Microsoft Excel for analysis of quantitative data.
- Team player and self-motivated
- Ability to work to deadlines and manage time with multiple tasks with limited supervision
- Undertaking relevant CPD and increasing skills and knowledge
