**Product Owner**

**Who we are?**
As a **Product Owner **in our Technology team, You’ll be responsible for setting, prioritising and evaluating the work generated by the product engineering team, ensuring extraordinary products that help us to achieve our mission. You’ll take pride in creating great quality products that lead the way in the market and achieve great customer satisfaction.
**About the role**:

- Create, prioritise, and maintain a product backlog, prioritised according to business value or ROI
- Responsible for defining and delivering product releases that are in line with the product roadmap, ensuring the functionality, user experience and release performance are in line with overall customer and market expectations
- Ensure the product releases align with the product strategy
- Take the lead with scrum teams in terms of product functional definition and the timely delivery of sprints and new product releases.
- Develop use cases, prioritise, write and refine stories and epics to ensure work focuses on the next one or two releases that are aligned with the product strategy and long-term roadmap
- Provide relevant product / new release information to the business as part of the product release process whilst managing engagement with all internal and external stakeholders
- Engage in complaints process where a product fault or issue is raised and participate in resolution / management of that process until closed

**The must haves**:

- Previous experience working as a Product Owner in a business-to-business software environment.
- In depth knowledge of Agile (Scrum) methodologies, processes and principles
- Significant experience of writing user stories, epics and managing all within the context of regular product releases to markets.
- Expert level of knowledge of product development in commercial environments
- Good knowledge of quality standards, legislation and best practice
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence and motivate others, particularly within the scrum teams
