VioVet is one of the UK's largest and most trusted veterinary supplies retailers, outgrowing three warehouses before recently moving to Bedford, Bedfordshire. Now VioVet is owned by Pinnacle Pet Group, based in the UK. The company now employs over 100 staff members and distributes to thousands of pet owners each month.

**So, what’s the job?**

Buying Assistant

**What are VioVet looking for?**
- Ability to investigate, analyse and challenge appropriately
- Able to manage a varied workload, conflicting deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in using retail software and advanced Microsoft Office Suite.
- Highly organised, work well with deadlines and with an excellent attention to detail
- Pet or Online Retail experience a distinct advantage
- Proactive and able to use your initiative

**Some of the key responsibilities and duties need you to be**:

- Support the rest of the buying team
- Prioritising and managing workload and to do list, managing expectations cross functionally
- Playing a key role in the management of the promotional process, ensuring that the promo planner is up to date, chasing supplier information, uploading agreed promo forms and checking accuracy
- Managing the new line process, requesting new line forms from suppliers, accurately setting up products within the required timings
- Attending and taking comprehensive and detailed meeting notes and actions
- Producing ad hoc reports and gathering information as instructed by the Buyer team

**The important bit**:

- Salary dependant on experience
- Full-time - 37.5 hours per week
- Permanent contract
- Hours: Monday - Friday
- Location: South Bedford (by Elstow Interchange of _A421_)
- Hybrid working pattern during the settling in period 2-3 days in the office, moving to 1-2 days per week in the office.
