Consolidation Accountant Location: London Job Type: Permanent Work Setup: Hybrid - 3 days in the office; fully onsite on Jan-Feb Salary: Up to £75,000 + 5% annual performance - related bonus Who We Are We have an exciting new opportunity for a Consolidation Accountant (Finance Reporting Specialist) to join Robert Walters as a Consultant. As an employed Consultant, you will benefit from permanent employment with Robert Walters and will be deployed on an interim or project basis into our clients' organisations, in return we will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills with ongoing training and professional accreditations Who You Will Work With Our client is a major international company involved in the extraction and production of natural resources. With operations in various regions around the world, it focuses on developing materials that support global industries and communities while emphasizing sustainable and responsible practices. What You'll Do Contribute to the consolidation of the financial reports for the annual report, interim, and year-end results announcements while keeping the process organized, effective, and timely Act as a key Group Reporting contact and expert for financial reporting, HFM consolidation, and reviewer of the financial information submitted to the group reporting tool Work closely with Finance Systems Teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency of the Group consolidations system (HFM) in response to the changes in accounting standards and ongoing improvements Maintain a clear understanding of the policies, procedures, and systems that apply to your work and ensure compliance - raise any issues/ seek solutions when necessary Collaborate with a culturally diverse environment internally and externally What You Bring Must be a qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or similar) Proven experience with Hyperion/ HFM 3+ years' hands-on experience in financial consolidation and reporting Proven expertise in managing group consolidation processes and preparation of interim and year-end financial reports Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm or a comparable listed/multinational company Demonstrate strong influencing skills across all employee levels, including peers and senior stakeholders Excellent verbal and written communication skills What's Next If you are ready to take the next step, apply now Successful applicants will be contacted directly by a recruiter to discuss the role more.
