AeroSyn AI is an Oxford-based startup building intelligent optimisation tools for wind turbines using AI, real-time analytics, and predictive insights. Our platform helps renewable-energy operators reduce downtime and improve performance. To support our growth, we're looking for a Business Development Intern who can help expand our network and strengthen our presence in the climate-tech industry.
Role Overview
The Business Development Intern will help identify potential clients, reach out to industry leaders, schedule demos, and support strategic growth efforts. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys communication, networking, and helping shape business direction in an emerging climate-tech startup.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and connect with potential clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
• Schedule product demos and coordinate conversations with interested prospects.
• Support outreach efforts across email, LinkedIn, and industry networks.
• Assist in preparing pitch materials, presentations, and demo scripts.
• Gather insights from conversations to help refine our product and business strategy.
• Track leads, maintain CRM notes, and support follow-ups.
What We're Looking For
• Strong communication and interpersonal
Skills.
• Confidence in speaking with senior industry leaders, operators, or investors.
• Good organisational and follow-up habits.
• Interest in climate tech, renewable energy, or AI-driven solutions.
• A proactive mindset and comfort working in a fast-moving startup environment.
• Master's (Oxford University) students preferred, but motivated bachelor's candidates are welcome.
Nice to Have
• Experience in business development, sales, outreach, or customer
success.
• Familiarity with climate-tech or B2B SaaS.
• Ability to understand and explain technical concepts simply.
