About This Role
NIQ/GFK UK are looking for a Commercial Executive who will focus on driving business growth through selling NIQ/GFK solutions and services that will help the client to meet their future business and growth objectives within the Tech and Durables industry.
The Commercial Executive plays a pivotal role in NIQ's SMB (Small & Medium Business) growth strategy. Focused on accelerating organic growth, the Commercial Executive generates revenue by truly understanding the client business strategy, objectives and translating this into NIQ/GFK services and solutions that will transform their insight capabilities, inform their business objectives, mitigate risk, and gain competitive advantage.
Your Responsibilities:
- Achieving revenue and profit targets
- Hunting new logo SMB Tech & Durables clients
- Managing a portfolio of clients - renewing and upselling, answering client questions and queries, demoing NIQ products and solutions
- Helping to create a vibrant and engaging culture built on high performance that drives results
- Delivering best practice procedures and materials to ensure that we have a set standard when talking to clients
- Taking part in team incentives/campaigns to increase visibility on SMB services and to encourage a friendly competitive atmosphere
- Take part in sales training/sharing culture to make sure we have a sales best practice and communicate objections, client news, and things that worked with the team
- Input into actionable changes from the engage survey
Your Qualifications (Must have)
- Experience with direct sales, sales development rep or previous AM/ AD and/or experience with SMB businesses up to £50m turnover
- Experience and love of the Tech & Durables sector or equivalent with appreciation of NIQ/GFK and/or competitor products, services, and data
- Understanding of data, insight, category marketing – either agency of client background
- An understanding of the issues and understanding of the client's needs facing T&D manufacturer and retailers
