As a MASH Referral Officer, your role will be making a positive difference to children, young people and their families in our community. You will be required to provide administrative support to the Referral desk which operates within the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). You will be responsible for ensuring that all enquiries (both over the telephone and in person) are answered and dealt with in a personable and impeccable customer service manner. Owing to the diversity of the calls that are received, these should be screened and using initiative and discretion, relevant information should be given to the caller directly or decision be made to or pass the request to the relevant officer for review and action. You will also be expected to maintain constructive relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders. This is a fast-paced service, and you will be required to have the experience and stamina to manage your workload under time pressure.
