An exciting opportunity has arisen on our site in Stowmarket, we are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our finance team.
This is a full-time, office-based role.
The role is working Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00 (including a 1 hour unpaid break) with flexibility to adjust hours of work when required.
Role Accountabilities:
Agree supplier invoices to purchase orders and process
Initiate weekly ledger payment runs
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve queries
Allocate customer remittances
Raise sales invoices
Credit control
Create new stock items on ERP system
Support company buyer with contract administration and reporting
Various adhoc reporting tasks
Assist payroll function with weekly wages
Maintain petty cash
Skills & Experience:
Manufacturing experience preferably food
Computer literacy in Excel, Word, & Email
At least two years of experience in a similar, financial role
Experience of an ERP system - e.g. Navision
Payroll experience would be beneficial
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to £30,000.00 per year
