**Key Responsibilities:**

**Production Management:**

  • Oversee and manage daily laundry and dry cleaning operations to meet quality control standards and production targets.

  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.

  • Inspect and process garments for dry cleaning, performing pressing and coordinating alterations as required, following established standards and procedures.

  • Operate the cash register accurately, handling customer payments and maintaining effective cash management.

**Cleaning Operations:**

  • Coordinate cleaning tasks, ensuring thorough cleaning of all areas, including toilets, public spaces, staff rooms, and residential rooms.

  • Monitor inventory levels of supplies and manage the ordering process to avoid shortages.

  • Support housekeeping tasks as needed to ensure overall operational efficiency.

**Team Leadership:**

  • Lead, develop, and motivate the laundry team, fostering a positive and skilled workforce through effective training and development.

  • Support in staff recruitment to build a strong team and ensure the right fit for each position.

  • Stand in for staff during absences, ensuring seamless operations and maintaining service quality.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance service delivery and respond promptly to client queries and feedback.

  • Plan and manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for all operational needs.

**Quality Assurance:**

  • Maintain high standards of quality, health and safety, and hygiene across the facility, ensuring compliance with all regulations.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost service quality and operational efficiency.

**What We're Looking For:**

  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and engage a team.

  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members, clients, and management.

  • Operational knowledge in process improvement and lean management principles.

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

  • IT proficiency with relevant software tools for managing production schedules and performance metrics.

  • Previous experience in professional dry cleaning and garment care is preferred, but full training will be provided.

**Requirements:**

  • Legal right to work in the United Kingdom.

  • Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy loads.

  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to meeting deadlines.

  • Familiarity with cash register operations and customer transaction processing is a plus.
