We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Expeditor to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring smooth communication between the kitchen and front-of-house staff, maintaining high standards of food quality and service. Responsibilities

• Coordinate between kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Monitor food preparation progress and communicate updates effectively to servers and guests
• Ensure food presentation meets quality standards before serving
• Assist with meal assembly and plating when necessary, supporting the culinary team
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the expediting area
• Uphold food safety standards in all aspects of work, including proper handling and storage of ingredients
• Manage multiple orders efficiently during busy service periods
• Support delivery drivers by organising orders for prompt dispatch when required
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when taking reservations or answering guest inquiries
• Contribute to a positive guest experience through attentive service and professional communication

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or food preparation is highly desirable
• Experience as a delivery driver or in kitchen roles such as cooking or meal preparation is advantageous
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team
• Familiarity with guest services, serving, and hotel or barista experience is beneficial
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and efficiently
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
• Good understanding of phone etiquette and professional conduct in customer interactions
