We are looking for

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Inbound Planning Supervisor to join our logistics and administration team. This newly created role is pivotal in enhancing operational efficiency by centralising and streamlining our inbound booking processes, which are currently distributed across multiple functions.

The successful candidate will act as a key liaison between booking administrators, area managers, and warehouse teams, ensuring seamless coordination and consistent service delivery. This role will also provide critical support during peak periods and staff absences, helping to maintain SLA compliance and reduce duplicated efforts.

What you will be doing:

• Oversee and manage all inbound booking requests and scheduling activities.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for AM and PM booking administrators.
• Liaise with area managers and warehouse teams to ensure alignment of inbound schedules with operational capacity.
• Monitor SLA adherence and proactively manage incomplete or delayed bookings.
• Support outbound scheduling and assist in balancing workloads across shifts.
• Provide cover for AM (6am–2pm) and PM (2pm–10pm) during holidays and absences.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting for inbound activity and performance metrics.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance booking efficiency and reduce operational bottlenecks.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to logistics and planning.

Our Ideal Person:

• Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse planning roles.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
• Proficiency in scheduling systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience supervising or coordinating teams or processes.
• Knowledge of SLA frameworks and performance monitoring.
• Familiarity with inbound/outbound logistics operations.
• Experience in a multi-shift environment.
• Exposure to process improvement or Lean methodology.
