Housekeeping Attendant

To provide cleaning services within the organisation in accordance with agreed standards, legislative requirements, relevant regulations and in line with accepted best practices

Responsibilities

The Domestic/Cleaner responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• To clean all parts of the home as directed and in accordance with laid down cleaning procedures.
• To replenish stocks of air fresheners and toiletries as needed
• To assist in monitoring stock levels of cleaning materials and toiletries
• To carry out a brief check of possible safety hazards when cleaning residents' rooms, and to report any possible hazards to Nurse in charge.
• To carry such duties with due regard to fire and accident prevention.
• To ensure safe operation and maintenance, as needed, of all cleaning equipment. To remove from use and to report to matron/ Proprietor any item of equipment found to be faulty or deemed unsafe.
• Ensure the service users' rights are protected

Be responsible for promoting and protecting the welfare of those individuals supported by the service

Hours for this position are a mixture of 9am-3pm, 8am-2pm, 12pm-6pm

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.25 per hour
