We are hiring for our client, a leading civil engineering company based in Omagh, who is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee the commercial management of their projects. Play a key role in the efficient and cost-effective management of resources, materials, and finances, from tendering through to final account.

The Role:

  • Lead the delivery of commercial management services for all tendering and projects.
  • Prepare timely internal commercial reporting, including monthly CVRs and project cash flow forecasts.
  • Monitor project costs and expenditures to ensure that projects are completed within budget.
  • Manage procurement processes, including negotiation with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Administer subcontractor and supplier accounts, ensuring timely payment and final account agreement.
  • Assist in resolving contractual and commercial issues and ensure the accurate preparation of valuations and payment applications.

The Person:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a Construction-related discipline with commercial experience.
  • 5 - 10 years' experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor.
  • Needs to have experience within Civil Engineering.
  • Strong understanding of construction costs, budgeting, and financial analysis.
  • Proficient in contract administration, tendering, procurement, and cost management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and time management skills.
  • Full driving licence and CSR / SafePass Card.
