About You:

You're a hands-on People leader who thrives in growth-stage environments — someone who's built and scaled high-performing teams while staying close to the work. You bring the strategic vision of a VP and the operational instinct of a builder.

  • Must be located in either Toronto or the UK.
  • You've helped a company grow from roughly 100 people upward and are ready to do it again.
  • Proven experience leading People & Culture in fast-scaling SaaS or tech companies.
  • A track record of building teams and infrastructure through growth (100–200+ employees).
  • Strong business acumen and a deep understanding of how People strategy fuels company performance.
  • Experience working with global, cross-cultural teams (ideally across Europe or emerging markets).
  • A practical, data-informed approach to decision-making — you care about ROI as much as engagement.
  • Curiosity, humility, and a genuine passion for building environments where people do their best work.
  • Proven experience designing programs, processes, and systems that scale.
  • You're energized by solving complex people challenges, shaping culture across global teams, and partnering directly with executives to drive business impact.

The Extras that Matter:

  • What they're building matters -it impacts the lives of real people and pets .
  • Build and scale a People function from the ground up — your blueprint, your team.
  • Employee Share Options - their employees share a key role in shaping the company's future.
  • $1000 yearly budget for learning and growth opportunities.
  • Competitive compensation & equity - designed to provide you with financial security.
