Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our patrons while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for the hospitality industry and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.

Duties

  • Serve beverages and food items to customers with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene at all times.
  • Take orders accurately, process payments, and handle cash transactions efficiently using basic math skills.
  • Engage with customers, providing recommendations and addressing any queries or concerns they may have.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and smooth operations during busy periods.
  • Manage time effectively, prioritising tasks to meet customer demands without compromising service quality.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is highly desirable.
  • A solid understanding of hospitality principles and practices is essential.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards is an advantage.
  • Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage positively with customers and team members alike.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.21-£15.00 per hour
