Our client, a major player in the manufacturing industry, is looking for an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join their Lancashire site.

This role will deliver a high-quality HR service across the business, providing managers and employees with expert guidance on HR policies, employment legislation, and best practice. You'll play a key role in supporting the wider HR team in achieving strategic people goals, as well as driving short- to medium-term workforce plans that underpin business performance.

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Partnering with the HR team to promote a high-performance culture where employees feel motivated, supported, and empowered.
  • Building strong, credible relationships with stakeholders to foster trust, collaboration, and professionalism.
  • Proactively challenging behaviours and team dynamics to ensure alignment with the company's values and culture.
  • Using data, insight, and industry knowledge to demonstrate exemplary HR expertise.
  • Working closely with HR colleagues to embed a unified "one team" approach and continually enhance delivery of the People Strategy and annual business objectives.
  • Providing managers with coaching, guidance, and support on all people-related matters.
  • Equipping leaders to effectively manage performance and develop their teams.
  • Assisting the South HRBP with planning and implementing organisational change initiatives.
  • Leading and contributing to HR and business projects, including initiatives to enhance employee engagement.
  • Supporting the management of employee relations and union matters to achieve positive, balanced outcomes.
  • Contributing to HR strategy execution, including workforce planning and succession development.
  • Managing ER casework as needed.

Experience and skills required:

  • CIPD Level 5 (or above) qualification, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong IT capability with good knowledge of HR systems, processes, and relevant legislation.
  • Experience working within a unionised, manufacturing environment.
  • Up-to-date understanding of HR best practice and emerging trends.
  • Proven experience supporting change initiatives, ideally in a rapidly growing or evolving organisation.
