We are a Nantwich based company looking for an Maths/Science graduate to to strengthen our internal Modification department and to offer support to the Modification team

If you have experience working with young people aged years old as a teacher or teaching assistant, then this job might be the next move for you. If you don't have experience, don't worry, we provide full training.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • To assist the Modification team in the modification of documents to ensure the information is fully accessible to people with a visual or hearing impairment.
  • Carrying out internal modification duties under the direction and supervision of other modifiers and Modifications manager.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with internal teams and external Professionals
  • Helping to identify products which require external expertise.
  • Assisting in the process of out-sourcing of work if needed.
  • Plan and organise both internal and external meetings to support the modification process.
  • Manage and coordinate required additional materials or approval as identified during the modification process.
  • Working effectively with other internal staff and departments to ensure timely completion of work to agreed deadlines and SLA's whilst ensuring best practice.
  • Working to internal QA standards to ensure all materials are of a high standard.
  • Maintain appropriate records and provide these as required to all line managers.
  • Maintain current knowledge on the market and industry trends.
  • Support in the training of new starters.

Person specification:

  • A good eye for detail
  • Excellent command of the English language and a high standard of education.
  • Able to identify improvements and share information
  • Motivated to work autonomously and also under direction.
  • Have a full understanding of safety, security and confidentiality within the working environment
  • Experienced in working to deadlines and in a pressurised working environment
  • A good team player with excellent customer service skills
  • Good IT skills
  • Preferably with an SEN/HLTA/Education 11-18 years background

Working within a very niche industry we are looking for a suitably experienced, hardworking individual who can offer flexibility and commitment in a very demanding industry and who displays an enthusiastic approach to their work.

As producers of accessible formats for people with a print or hearing impairment, we work closely with education organisations, NHS Trusts and the corporate sector. Any experience relevant to these industries or a background in Education or SEN would be beneficial.
