Salary: £49,400+ (DOE)
What you'll be doing:
- Maintain compliance with project finance processes and control activities to ensure accurate financial reporting and support operational efficiency
- Deliver high-quality financial trading and reporting outputs, focusing on accuracy and a "right first time" approach.
- Contribute to continuous improvement strategies that enhance team capability, efficiency, and business performance
- Provide support to key stakeholders and work collaboratively across functions to meet shared goals
- Help the team achieve internal and external financial and performance targets to drive business success
- Support team development by coaching junior colleagues and deputising for the team lead when required
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- CIMA, ACA, ICAEW or ACCA – Part or Fully Qualified (AAT not accepted)
- Interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence effectively
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and adapt to meet key deadlines
- Self-motivated, and influential and the ability to investigate when appropriate to ensure accuracy and accountability
- Excel and MS Office skills
Desirable:
- Experience in Project Accounting, Management Accounting, or FP&A

The Project Finance Delivery Team:
Join our Project Finance Delivery Team, part of the wider Air Project Finance Capability Centre that provides financial ability across some of BAE Systems' most advanced and multi-faceted Air Sector programmes. Working within a through-life business that delivers cutting-edge military air capability to UK and international customers, the team plays a key role in maximising value and supporting strategic decision-making. Embedded within multi-functional project teams, the Project Finance Delivery Team provides vital financial insight, planning, and control across projects of varying size and complexity. With opportunities for collaboration and professional growth, this team sits at the centre of ensuring effective, efficient, and profitable delivery across the Air portfolio.
