Duties

  • Welcome guests warmly and take their orders accurately
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
  • Ensure guest needs are met promptly and courteously throughout their visit
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the service area, including tables and service stations
  • Follow food safety regulations and hygiene standards diligently
  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks as required, supporting kitchen staff when necessary
  • Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system and provide correct change
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
  • Address guest concerns professionally, resolving issues promptly to ensure satisfaction

Experience

  • Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is desirable
  • Familiarity with serving procedures, guest services, and upselling strategies will be beneficial
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during peak hours
  • Basic maths skills for handling payments and billing accurately
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with excellent multitasking abilities
  • A genuine passion for delivering high-quality guest experiences and creating a welcoming atmosphere
